ICYMI, last night Reps. Thomas Massie (KY-4), Ron DeSantis (FL-6), and Steve Daines (MT) spoke out against the so-called “Marketplace Fairness Act,” H.R. 684 and S. 743.
C4L applauds the efforts of these members for taking a stand against what amounts to a National Internet Tax Mandate, when so many others opposed to this legislation are keeping a low profile out of fear of the special interest groups pushing this legislation.

First Lady Michelle Obama visited the campus of Eastern Kentucky University on Saturday to deliver the commencement address. She encouraged students to reach out to those with different ideological beliefs, and Young Americans for Liberty at EKU took her advice ahead of time and distributed mock programs highlighting her husband's failure to protect individual liberties and allow economic growth.
The program was designed to look like one that might distributed

Young Americans for Liberty protested unions last weekend at California State University Fresno (CSUF) by constructing "union" and “right to work” hot dog stands at the school’s annual fair.
Attendees were shocked hot dogs cost $25 at the "unionized" stand compared to just $2 at the “right to work” competitor stand.
Inside the “unionized hot dog stand” conservative student-actors played the parts of employees who refused to work efficiently.

DOJ Tactics Against AP Raise Concerns For The New York Times
Huffington Post | Michael Calderone | May 15, 2013
If this is what it takes for the media to finally wake the hell up, well, then good. Lie down with dogs, wake up with fleas.
And they're ALL itchy now. To wit:
When Attorney General Eric Holder took reporters' questions Tuesday afternoon, several asked about the Justice Department’s sweeping seizure of Associated Press phone records, a move condemned by prominent journalists, media o

Ron Paul’s libertarian views and position with regard to gold and the U.S. Fed had considerable appeal to the audience at this year’s New York Metals and Mining Investment Conference.
If the audience demographic at the Metals & Minerals Investment Conference in New York was that of the U.S. as a whole, former U.S. senator Ron Paul would be U.S. President today! He was given a

“When you save someone from a ticket people are really appreciative of that,” said Garrett Ean, “Robin Hood of Keene”. The Robin Hooders patrol the streets of Keene searching for the parking officers and try to beat them -- with coins -- to the meter. “My husband had it a few weeks ago. He was just running a little late in one of the stores…and when he came back he had the little card there sa
